Step-by-Step Guide to Doing Gel X Nails at Home

Now for the fun part! Follow these steps to achieve the perfect Gel X nails:


Step 1: Prep Your Natural Nails

  1. Start by pushing back your cuticles with a cuticle pusher and removing any excess skin with nippers.

  2. Gently buff the surface of your nails to remove shine—this helps the gel adhere better.

Step 2: Apply Dehydrator & Primer

Step 6: Apply Gel Polish & Top Coat

  1. Apply a thin layer of gel base coat and cure for 30 seconds.

  2. Paint on your favorite gel color, curing between each coat for 60 seconds.

  3. Finish with a high-gloss gel top coat and cure for 60 seconds.

  4. Wipe your nails with alcohol to remove any sticky residue.


Step 7: Moisturize & Enjoy Your Salon-Perfect Nails!

  1. Apply cuticle oil and hand lotion to keep your nails and skin hydrated.
